Seeing / Building / Submitting your case

  • Cases will be generated for required reviews beginning in August.
  • To request a case such as Promotion or Early Tenure use this Google Form here.  Note:  Requesting a case does not require you to submit the case for review.
  • To request a case for Range Elevation click here.  Note:  Requesting a case does not require you to submit the case for review.
  • The Interfolio case is similar to the paper binder with sections already built-in.  Upload and arrange your documents much like the paper binder.
  • On or before the deadline, you will ensure that all sections of your case are submitted.
  • When you submit your case by the deadline, it is available to the Dean's office for the addition of items from the PAF that may be missing, such as Student Ratings, Peer Evaluations, prior reviews, etc.
  • The Dean's office will then forward the case for the first level of Review - the Department.

I don't see my case(s) or my Dossier?

There are two "sides" to Interfolio - Fresno State (cases) and Dossier (personal).  To switch between Dossier and California State University, Fresno (Cases)- click on your name in the upper right corner (on the black header), then select either Dossier to access your private workspace or California State University-Fresno to access your cases (eWPAF).

Cases for you to complete have to be created before you see them.  And cases for you to review, need to be forwarded before you can see them.

How do I use Adobe Acrobat DC to edit my files before loading?

There are some courses in CSU Learn that review using Adobe Acrobat DC.

Go to CSU Learn and search for Adobe Acrobat DC for courses.

What order will loaded files display in my portfolio or case, and can I change the order?

The default read and display order of files in a case will be the order you load the files.

You can rearrange the files by dragging the loaded files to a different order.

A section in my portfolio or case is locked, and the deadline has not passed; how to I get it unlocked.

Send an email to dvolpp@csufresno.edu - provide the section(s) you wished unlocked.

Do I have to use the Dossier to load my files?

No.  Using the Dossier is an option.  You may use Google Drive, your computer, or other available electronics storing methods.

If I add a file from my computer to my Packet does the file load to my Dossier?

Yes, it does.  It is not placed in any Collection automatically, but it is in your Materials.

For my RTP case, Sections 8,9,10  do not ask for the tables. Where should I put tables?

Put the tables after your narrative.  Location is not critical; however, placement after your narrative would allow for a continuity of information.
