Advancement to Candidacy Forms

  • These are MSWord documents with fields embedded in them.
    • Downloading: If your browser does not automatically download the form, right-click the form link (or hold down button for one-button mouses) and save document to your hard drive, fill in the form, and print.
    • Filling in forms in Word:
      • To move to the next field, use the tab, down or right arrow, or page down key.
      • To move to the previous field, use shift-tab, left or up arrow, or page up key. Or, click on any field to select it.
      • Check boxes: check or uncheck the chosen box with the x key, space bar, or by clicking on the box. (Note: Some check boxes are not changeable.)
      • Drop-down menus: click on the field and choose a class or a blank by clicking or using the down or up arrows and the enter key.
      • The default text in a text box can be deleted using the delete or backspace keys. Some drop-down menus have a blank as a choice, when applicable.
