Operating Days/Hours
The centers are open five days a week (Monday through Friday) from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. An Extended Day Program is available from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. for preschool children.
The School Age Program is available during the summer months (June through August) for children who have completed Kindergarten up to age 12. Hours are 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The centers follow the California State University, Fresno days of operation schedule. The center is closed for the following holidays and times: Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), December 25-January 1, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Cesar Chavez’s birthday, Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Please see Calendar for additional dates of closure that vary year to year. The center is open during the academic year from the first day of the Fall Semester to the last day of the Spring Semester. Summer programs are operated based on parent demand for education and child care services and the needs of the academic programs. Center hours may vary during the summer months.

Programs for Children is located in the Kremen School of Education and Human Development building, located at the northwest corner of Shaw and Maple Avenues on the California State University campus in Fresno, California.
Programs for Children is located in the atrium (downstairs) after entering the Education building main entrance.
