Obtain Accessibility Assurances
Once all required Accessibility Review tasks have been completed, the IT Buyer will incorporate Accessibility Assurance requirements into the final purchase agreement or contract.
Accessibility Requirements contract language usually includes:
- The vendor warrants conformance with the current Accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.0 AA)
- The University reserves the right to perform testing at any time
- The Vendor commits to responding to, and resolving, end-user reports of accessibility barriers
- The Vendor agrees to remediate the Accessibility barriers as defined in their Accessibility Roadmap, and further agrees that any failure to complete the work as described represents a material breach of the agreement.
