The Center for Creativity and the Arts at California State University, Fresno is a shared intellectual and imaginative space-a vehicle for public engagement with the arts. As the hub of an interdisciplinary endeavor designed to link theory to practice, it inspires innovation, inquiry, collaboration, and dialogue across disciplines, cultures, industries, and global perspectives.
We strive to advance the capacity of creativity to inspire intellectual debate and engagement. Serving a diverse university and regional community, the Center promotes inclusion through innovative art exhibitions, university-wide programming and curricula and community events. Recognizing that artists contribute to transform the intellectual life of the University and the Central Valley, the Center serves as a catalyst for open, dynamic discussion of community-relevant topics that are illuminated by artistic programming.
