Brad Hufft is a musical educator, concert promoter, and composer with a wide range of entrepreneurial experience. He has owned several companies, including a multi-location restaurant corporation, been a record producer, done band management, toured with a rock band, recorded two albums, and had his art music performed across Europe and the United States. He is the co-author of Listen to the Music: Styles and Trends in American Pop, now in its 17th edition and has been on the faculty of California State University Fresno since 2004. During that time he has been one of the principle developers of Fresno State’s online jazz and rock course.
Currently, Brad is producing a second CD for TriOblique, a progressive ensemble of harp, theremin, and percussion. The CD includes arrangements from groups such as Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. TriOblique also performed in a concert produced by Brad featuring Herman Rarebell, former drummer of the Scorpions and composer of such hits as “Rock You Like a Hurricane.” Brad is currently composing several commissioned works, editing video of his European tour of 2015, and providing management for the American Harp Quartet.
