Mr. Marmalade

ETC is a student-generated group laboratory experience in the selection, rehearsal, and production of a theatre production for public performance. ETC strives to provide dedicated students from all artistic sectors of the university community with an atmosphere that fosters artistically challenging collaborative work. 

ETC is governed by a student board (elected by fellow theatre majors) and a faculty advisor. Recent productions have included Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage BlockheadDen of Thieves, And Then There Were None, Vanities, Mr. Marmalade, 4000 miles, Flowers for Algernon, Undergrad, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Book of Liz, and Sunday on the Rocks.

FALL 2020                       

The Experimental Theatre Company (ETC) is pleased to present “Shelter-in-Plays”, a presentation of 5 original virtual plays. “Shelter-in-Plays” is entirely, written, directed, produced, and performed by Fresno State students and will premiere on Friday, January 8, 2021 on the official University Theatre YouTube channel.

“Shelter-in-Plays” will stream FREE on the University Theatre YouTube Channel beginning with the premiere on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 7:30pm and continuing indefinitely.

A special pre-premiere Facebook Live will also be held on January 8th at 6:30pm on the University Theatre Facebook page. The Facebook Live will include the writers and directors of the original virtual plays.
