Dr. Aly Tawfik

Dr. Aly Tawfik, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering in the Lyles College of Engineering, is the Institute’s founding Director. Dr. Tawfik has nearly 20 years in the field of transportation systems engineering, with specific experience in modeling, simulation, and optimization of transportation systems as well as numerous projects involving transportation planning, transit design, traffic simulation and design, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and autonomous vehicles.

 

 

Rebecca Tanaka Kaaz

Rebecca Tanaka Kaaz, whose professional background includes several years in retail information technology, provides administrative support for the Institute.

 

 

 

 

Krista Clark

Krista Clark has an associate of science degree in business administration. With an Intent to pursue her bachelors degree in business communications and marketing at Fresno State University. Krista hopes to grow her administrative skills in her position at the fresno state transportation Institute in order to better serve her community as well as bettering her professional skill set to propel her through future career ventures
