Dr. Yen teaches research methodology and senior seminar. Dr. Yen has taught applied spatial technology, applied imaging technology, programming fundamentals, electricity & electronics and CAD. He has researched in the fields of neural networks, fuzzy logic controls, artificial intelligence, computer-integrated-manufacturing (CIM), and microwave vacuum dehydration technology. His recent research interests include: visual programming and object models in business applications, human machine interfaces technology, technology related education and social issues, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) technologies in business and agricultural applications.
