Freshmen Connect

Freshman Connect will group first year freshmen with a Freshman Coach in their first 2 semesters at Fresno State. Emails and Facebook posts will be used to communicate important deadlines and use of resources, as well as opportunities to ask students how their semester is going and if they have any questions. Ultimately, Freshman Connect will provide a peer-to-peer connection to help students be successful in their first year at Fresno State.

For Seniors

Students who have completed 90 or more units are encouraged to visit the SENIOR EXPERIENCE web site. This website was created by Academic Enhancement Services so students can make the most of their Senior Experience. This website offers specific information on Graduation Requirements, Commencement and Graduation Ceremonies, Resume and Professional Portfolio Development, a Checklist for Graduation, and much more! These resources can also serve as a helpful tool for faculty and staff advisors.

Vit 194 and Enology 194 provide students with an opportunity to work in the wine industry and receive university credit at the same time. These Internships involve close cooperation between the Department of Viticulture and Enology and the Wine Industry in order to provide students with an opportunity to learn in an industry setting.

Qualified students who have a goal to be succesful in the grape and wine industry are encouraged to take these courses.

V. E. Petrucci Library

The V. E. Petrucci Library is housed in the Department of Viticulture and Enology and is home to a special collection of historical and contemporary books, periodicals, and journals relating to the advancement and understanding of the disciplines of viticulture (vine culture) and enology (the science of wine). The library is open to students, as well as staff, faculty, and the community. We encourage students to take advantage of these resources as they fulfill the requirements of their coursework.

Ag One Scholarships

The Ag One Foundation is the primary source for scholarships for students in the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Ag One Foundation scholarship funds are granted through the general University Scholarships program maintained by the Division of Student Affairs. Fresno State Scholarships

Fresno State awards over a thousand scholarships totaling more than 4.3 million dollars in free money to incoming and continuing students.  Scholarships are offered by various colleges, departments, and organizations to students who meet specific criteria.
