Nurturing Parenting

Nurturing Parenting is a 14 week class that provides parents with tools to build nurturing and caring relationships through all stages of their children’s development, while at the same time being able to share difficult parenting experiences in a nonjudgmental and caring space. Parents will gain awareness on their own childhood upbringing and its relationship and impact to current parenting styles. Parents will obtain tools to structure their home by introducing morals, values, and rules to shape the discipline in the home. Parents will be introduced to concepts related to child’s self-esteem, parental self-care, parent-child conflict, building trusting and respectful relationships, and much more. Parents do not have to be court ordered to attend this class.

Anger Management

Anger Management is a 12 week class that provides patients with a caring and nonjudgmental space to discuss anger “triggers.” Patients will gain tools to learn and manage anger, stop acts and threats of violence, develop self-control, increase positive interactions with peers, familial, and occupational environments. Patients do not have to be court ordered to attend this class.

Co-Parenting

Co-parenting is an 8 week class that provides divorced or separated parents the tools to communicate effectively about their children. Despite parents having positive intentions, sometimes unresolved or past struggles can affect current healthy co-parenting methods.  Parents are provided a caring and nonjudgmental space to work through unhealthy communication patterns. Providing a secure, loving, and consistent relationship model with children from both parents is critical in their development. This course works to strengthen the co-parenting skills to accomplish the goal of building those healthy families. Parents do not have to be court ordered to attend this class.
