The College of Social Sciences Technology Enhanced Classroom located in SS202 serves as an open access computer lab for all campus students as well as being a fully functional classroom. The Classroom provides various software packages including general productivity applications, statistics packages, as well as web browsing and e-mail. The classroom has 34 student workstations. Each work station has a 17" LCD Flat-Panel display and a Pentium III 933Mhz CPU with CD-ROM and Floppy access. Every station has an extra data connection to provide laptop connectivity to the campus network and Internet. The classroom also has wireless networking which uses a private WiFi (802.11) network for those who have such capabilities. Each workstation is loaded with Windows XP Professional, Office XP, SPSS 11, Microcase, ArcView, and Internet Explorer 6. Classroom Hours are from 8 AM to 10 PM 7 days a week. The Classroom is available for open access whenever classes are not in session. Due to changes in course schedules, a current schedule will be posted outside the door as to open access times as well as times when a Student Assistant would be available to help.
