Bulldogs for Recovery

Recovery is the process of change through which an individual achieves abstinence and improved health, wellness and quality of life. This definition was adapted from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA).

About Bulldogs for Recovery

Fresno State received a grant from Transforming Youth Recovery in 2016 to support Fresno State students in recovery from addiction. Addiction can take on many forms and isn't just limited to the use of alcohol and drugs. Now known as Bulldogs for Recovery, the goal is to provide students in recovery with support to achieve success in their academic careers while at Fresno State.
