Fall 2017 Transcript Processing: Official transcripts for students enrolled for the
Fall 2017 semester will not be released until the Registrar's Office has completed
end of term processing. The anticipated completion date for processing is January
5, 2018. Suspending transcript processing allows us to make important adjustments
and corrections to your transcript before releasing. This does not impact students
who were not enrolled for the Fall 2017 semester.
During this period students may still request transcripts online, by mail, or in person.

Transcripts are a complete record of all courses and degrees completed at Fresno State. Official transcripts are issued in individually sealed envelopes. Coursework from other institutions will not appear on your Fresno State transcript.
We will not process transcript requests until all grades are submitted by faculty. In addition all outstanding university financial obligations must be cleared before your transcript can be released.
At this time, only registered Fresno State students are able to obtain an unofficial transcript. You can access unofficial transcripts from your Student Center by logging into My Fresno State.
All current and former Fresno State students have three options for ordering official transcripts:
- Online - You can order your official transcripts online by accessing the Credentials Solutions website. Official transcripts ordered online are processed within 1-2 business days, please allow additional time for delivery by U.S. Mail. Expedited and Fed Ex shipping options are available when you order online. Emailed transcripts are available for ordering online and are the quickest way for you or a third party to receive your transcript. Emailed transcripts are sent as a PDF file. These orders are often processed the same business day. Please note, the PDF option is primarily available only to students who attended Fresno State after 2002. Call us at 559.278.4743 if you would like for us to verify your eligibility for a PDF transcript.
- Mail - Use the 'Request for Official Transcript' form to place your order. Additional instructions are located on the form.
- In Person - You can order and walk out with up to three (3) Official Transcripts at the Admissions and Records Service Windows in the North Lobby of the Joyal Administration Building. You will need to bring a valid photo ID. Transcript fees are referenced below. A $10 rush fee is applied on top of regular transcript fees if ordering and walking out with three copies.
- Please note: If someone else will be requesting in person and/or picking-up your transcript, you need to provide a signed release authorizing the third party to request and/or pick-up your transcript. Please include their name and instruct them to bring a valid photo ID.
Release Records of Deceased Student
The Registrar’s Office is committed to protecting the academic records of current and former students, even those now deceased. Requests for access to a deceased student’s record can be initiated through the Registrar’s Office. Each request for the release of a transcript or other academic records of a deceased student will be reviewed on the merit of that request.
A completed Record Release form and Death Certificate or obituary must be submitted. Please contact our Transcript & Verifications Coordinator to complete and submit the form for your request. You may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
