Transcript Information

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR Spring 2020: Beginning May 26, transcript requests for a record containing Spring 2020 coursework will be held until grades have posted and academic standings have been set. We anticipate transcripts will be available for release the first week of June.

Transcripts are a complete record of all courses and degrees completed at Fresno State. Official transcripts are issued in individually sealed envelopes.

Coursework from other institutions will not appear on your Fresno State transcript. As stated in the University Catalog, transcripts of records from other institutions submitted to Fresno State are not returned to students.  Fresno State will not provide official or unofficial copies of transcripts from other institutions.

Electronic PDF Transcripts

Electronic PDF transcripts are available to students, current or former, who attended Fresno State after 2002. A partnership with Credentials Solutions allows us to deliver secure, certified electronic PDF transcripts. We recommend you confirm with your recipient that they will accept the transcript in this format before you order.

Hard Copy Transcripts

All students, current or former, can order a hard copy (paper) transcript. Orders can be placed online via Credentials Solutions. A Fresno State issued student ID or Social Security Number is needed to place an order.

Unofficial Transcripts

Only currently enrolled Fresno State students are able to obtain a copy of their unofficial transcript. You can access unofficial transcripts from your Student Center by logging into My Fresno State.

A completed Record Release form and Death Certificate or Obituary must be submitted.  Please contact our Transcript Verifications Coordinator to complete and submit the form for your request.  You may also send an email to registrar@csufresno.edu.
