Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Faculty and staff, working remotely, will need to use the Fresno State Virtual Private Network (VPN) to securely access their campus workstation, shared folders, local databases or other campus servers.
Fresno State's VPN creates a safe and encrypted connection that allows employees to safely send information back and forth from the campus and their remote location. Depending on the speed of your remote location, some activities may be slower than when you are physically on campus.
