Interior Design program transforms into an award-winning powerhouse
Based around a hypothetical “Crescent Wetlands Museum” along the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Tsung’s design promotes community action to restore and protect Louisiana’s coastal wetlands while providing flood protection and wildlife conservation.

Six student designs win gold in regional ADDY Awards
Competing against other students from San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sacramento, Reno and the Fresno area, five Fresno State graphic design students have won six gold awards in the American Advertising Federation Regional (District 14) ADDY Awards. Students also took home 21 silver awards.

Interior Design students named IDEC finalist in Pacific West region
A team of four interior design students Omar Aldulijan, Jinjin Huang, Lesya Kuchkovskaya, and Lorena Seijas de Alvarez, have been selected as Pacific West regional finalists for the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) competition.
Interior design student wins regional ANDYZ competition
Interior design major Marisol Coria received the “Best Student Design” for her Capstone project at the annual ANDYZ Awards, president by the Central California and Nevada chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). The ANDYZ Awards are primarily for professionals with a single category for students, which encompasses interior design and architecture.
Two graphic design students win silver in regional competition
After winning two gold and 15 silver medals in the local American Advertising Awards, 17 Fresno State students moved on to the regional level where the accolades continued. Graphic Design students Michael Vang and Christopher Slaughter earned silver medals in the regional competition.

Art and Design alum Fidel Mendoza dazzles as Bronco Wine Co’s new Lead Graphic Designer
Department of Art and Design alum Fidel Mendoza’s success in the graphic design industry has culminated into a recent promotion to Lead Graphic Designer for Bronco Wine Co. which boasts a highly varied selection of wine that they produce from vineyard to table. Bronco Wine Co. is the largest vineyard owner in the U.S. and the 5th largest winery.
