Giving to the Department of Art & Design

The Department of Art and Design offers exciting and creative opportunities for students to nurture and expand their artistic and design senses by providing a broad range of disciplines, such as Fine Arts, Art History and Art Education, Graphic and Interior Design, and Interactive Multimedia, all of which prepare graduates for art and design-related opportunities, professional settings, and artistic endeavors.

The Department of Art and Design has the most majors of the College at 400 to 500, including 200-300 majors within Graphic Design alone.

Graphic Design has within it three areas of emphasis (graphic design, illustration, and interactive multimedia). The Senior Exhibit brings around 300-400 guests (professional and family).

Fine Art includes drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and glass blowing.

The Department of Art and Design provides 30-40 scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students in the amount of $1,000 per scholarship. The Perenchio Internship Program provides paid internships in the amount of $1,500 to students in museum/gallery venues.
