The Master of Public Health Program at California State University, Fresno is transitioning to a two year full-time program beginning Fall 2020.

The mission of the Master of Public Health Program is to promote, preserve, and restore health. This is accomplished by educating graduate students to be effective leaders and practitioners at the local, national, and international levels.

The program educates students to be effective practitioners by providing skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to effectively conduct public health assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and applied research to address the needs of our communities.

The Master of Public Health Program addresses the health needs of the ethnically and socio-economically diverse communities living in the San Joaquin Valley of California and the Southwest.

In improving the health of communities, we are committed to the pursuit of knowledge, professionalism, advocacy, diversity, and scholarship.
The program also emphasizes community service with the underserved counties and state agencies, as well as develops professional opportunities for Master of Public Health program students and graduates.

NOTE: The program accepts students for the Fall Semester ONLY.
The application period for Fall 2021 has ended. The 2022 application period will begin in November 2022.
