Setting up Email on your Mobile Device
Apple iOS Email + Calendar Setup Instructions
- On your device launch the App Store.
- Search for and install the Gmail app (skip this step if already installed).
- Search for and install the Google Calendar app (skip this step if already installed).
- Launch the Gmail app and sign in.
- Type in your "username"@mail.fresnostate.edu email address in the provided field. Hit Next.
- You will be redirected to campus login services:
- Enter your campus email username and password. (this does NOT include @mail.fresnostate.edu). Hit login.
- Your email is now configured.
- From your home screen, launch the calendar app
- You should see your campus Google account listed (settings were gathered from the Gmail app).
- Enable the account by sliding the slider.
- Your campus Google Calendar account should now be configured.
Android Email + Calendar Instructions
- On your device launch the Play Store app.
- Search for and install the Gmail app (skip this step if already installed).
- Search for and install the Google Calendar app (skip this step if already installed).
- Launch the Settings app from your Home Screen, App Drawer, or Notification Shade.
- Scroll down in the settings menu and tap Accounts.
- Select Add Account. Select Google
- Type in your username@mail.fresnostate.edu email address in the provided field.
- Select Accept to allow the app to redirect the login to the campuslogin page.
- Enter your campus email username and password, For this step enter the username without the @mail.fresnostate.edu address.
- Your account is now setup, if prompted to setup payment info, select No Thanks and then Continue.
- You're done!
