Brief Introductory Statement

Sara Azevedo is Manager of Central Valley Site Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at E. & J. Gallo Winery. She is responsible for alcohol beverage compliance activities including crush, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling across five Central Valley facilities.  She also works to advance the global trade of wine as a member of the Wine Institute Technical Advisory Committee and as an industry representative to the APEC Wine Regulators Forum, International Wine Technical Summit, and the World Wine Trade Group.  Prior to joining Gallo, she was a Presidential Management Fellow for the General Services Administration.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration both from California State University, Stanislaus, an International Food Law Certificate from Michigan State University, and attended the Wine and Spirits Law Academy at University of California, Davis.
