Degree Progress Report (formerly Degree Audit Report)

The Degree Progress Report (DPR) is used as an advising tool. It is a system-generated report that shows a student's progress toward completing major requirements, General Education, and remaining degree requirements.

Degree Audit Report
Type of Report Description
DPR A DPR is an important tool for students and advisors. Students should generate their DPR (available on their Student Center) each semester to track progress toward degree completion.
"What-If" DPR The "What-If" DPR is another advising tool to show completion of degree requirements if a student were to choose another major or be eligible for a different catalog year.
"Senior" DPR Seniors (students who have completed 90+ units) may generate a special version of their DPR that shows only unmet and in-progress degree requirements.

How long does it take for a student to to receive an evaluated DPR?
Many students who transfer from California community colleges will have their transfer work evaluated and inputted into DPR prior to their first semester of enrollment at Fresno State. Students transferring from other institutions may find that it takes up to one semester for all coursework to be evaluated.

Students will know they have been evaluated when they receive their DPR as a PDF attachment in an e-mail from the Evaluations office. Advisors can tell if a student has been evaluated when the student's unofficial transcript reflects "Evaluated" near the name of the transfer institution(s).

How come the DPR does not show the substitutions I sent to the Evaluations Office for major requirements?
Some substitutions or exceptions made for an individual student may not appear in the DPR. For example, depending on how close a student is to graduating, substitutions approved for the major (by the major department) or for General Education (by the Student Academic Petitions Committee) may not be entered into DPR before a student applies for graduation.

All substitutions and exceptions are held in the student's electronic file in the Evaluations Office.  These memos and petitions will be reviewed when the student applies for graduation.
