STRATEGIC PRIORITY 1

Course Substitution Process

Summary of idea: Change course substitution policy so the form can be entered electronically into the system by the individuals responsible for overseeing compliance with curriculum.

Choice Architecture Nudges to Promote High Impact Practices

Faculty/Staff Onboarding

Summary of idea:  Develop and foster a tiered “Welcome to Fresno State” ‘opt in’ ambassador program for faculty and staff new hires.  Design a new faculty fellows program to provide training on the nuts and bolts of navigating the university and opportunities to share research with other cohort members.

Current Status:New Faculty/Staff Orientation is scheduled for the fall, and a new employee website will be launched by August 2017.

Accessible Technology Center

Current Status:Provides high impact experiences for all learning styles, enhances learning through instant access of accessible course materials without students identifying differences providing a sense of belonging and supports accessibility in the classroom, workplace and community.

Current Status: New process is currently being implemented and resulting in the ability to track documents, reduce errors, create bandwidth for other high value work, faster payments, improved customer service and paperless payments. 

Enhanced Communication

Comprehensive Campus Calendar

On Campus Volunteer Opportunity Database
