New managers will have the opportunity to build leadership skills and supervision capabilities through workshops and ongoing networking opportunities.  Workshops focus on how to create a positive, engaging, and productive culture, increasing managerial effectiveness, and how to align talent with the strategic mission of the University. 

Principles of Supervision 

Being an excellent supervisor can have a profound effect on Fresno State. Your actions, behavior, and treatment impacts employees, but also indirectly affects others. The people you supervise and manage frequently move on to lead others, often in a way that emulates how they were supervised. This 2 day workshop will next be offered Spring 2023.
